Ruth E. “Honey” (Andruski) Santimore, 75, of Worcester, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, February 4, 2021, after a short illness.

Ruth is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Clayton L. Santimore, Jr. (May 29th would have been their 50th wedding anniversary); her son, Jonathan M. Santimore, Sr. and his wife, Lisa, of Rutland; a brother, John F. Andruski of Charlton; five grandchildren, Amaya and Jonathan, Jr. Santimore of Rutland and Matthew, Katherine, and Elizabeth Santimore of West Newbury; a daughter in law, Shannon Santimore of West Newbury; a close friend, Linda Rosky; nieces and a nephew. She is predeceased by her son, Clayton L. Santimore, III, and her sisters, Jean M. Castle and Patricia Martin.

Born on August 18, 1945 and raised in Worcester, Ruth was the daughter of the late John A. and Ruth F. Andruski. Ruth graduated from South High School in 1963 and went to work at Sears Roebuck and Company.

Ruth and Clayton moved to Holden to raise their family. Ruth’s greatest achievements were her two sons. She was happiest taking her children to their games and practices and to WWF events. She loved playing cards with her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth was a long time member of St. Mary’s Church in Holden. She retired from Sears Roebuck and Company in 2004. Ruth’s sense of humor and contagious smile will be missed by many. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by this sudden loss.

Our family deeply appreciates the wonderful care Ruth received at home from her devoted niece, Cindy Castle and Jewish Health Care Hospice nurse, Hillary Hayes.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jewish Health Care Hospice, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
