Rose Marie (Anyon) Ganczarski, 95, died Sunday, March 27, 2022, in The Reservoir Center, Marlboro, after a period of declining health.

She leaves a daughter, Debra M. Bazydlo and her husband, Bruce, of Clinton; two sons: Robert W. Ganczarski, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Thomas D. Ganczarski and his wife, Eileen, of Nashua, NH; a brother, Ernest Anyon of Manchester, NJ; five grandchildren: Jessica, Jamie, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Julie; six great-grandchildren: Craig, Jaime, Tiannah, Joey, Deija and Zoe; two great-great grandchildren: Sophie, and Lyla Mae; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Walter, who died in 1980, and their grandson, Robert Ganczarski. Five siblings: Norman, Henry, Roger, Anna May, and Virginia, also predeceased her.

Rose was born in Springfield, MA, and raised on Nantucket and in Millbury, the daughter of Ernest P. and Louise (Dolbec) Anyon. She attended local schools and had been a resident of Clinton for more than 70 years.

In addition to raising her family, Rose was employed at the SV Club, where she waitressed and helped with making their iconic pizzas; Wasel’s Diner, and Van Brode Co., both formerly of Clinton, before retiring from Kelly Plastics, after eight years of service.

She was a member of St. John’s Parish, and the former Our Lady of Jasna Gora Church, the Catholic Women’s League and was a member and Past President of the Polish American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary.

Rose enjoyed playing bingo and card games and watching old westerns. She loved to dance; was an avid Red Sox fan, and most of all, was a cat lover. She also loved decorating with her flowers. Above all, Rose was devoted to her family, and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rose’s funeral will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests the memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
