     Rose M. (Lopriore) Milluzzo, 92, of Worcester passed away Saturday, December 20th 2014 with her family gathered by her side after a brief period of declining health.Rose was born in Worcester, one of seven children of Italian Immigrants, Pietro and Giovanina “Annie” (Tantimonaco) Lopriore. She grew up in Worcester and graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. Eight years later as a young woman she met and married the man that would be the love of her life for the next 44 years, Anthony J. Milluzzo. Together they settled in the Grafton Hill section of Worcester to raise their children. She has lived there ever since.

Rose’s husband Anthony passed away in 1992. She is survived by her devoted children; Gloria L Milluzzo with whom she lived, Jean M. Matczak and her husband Paul of Worcester, Tina M. Milluzzo of Las Vegas, Anthony J. Milluzzo Jr. and his wife Joni of Shrewsbury; three sisters, Rae DeMarco of West Boylston, Antoinette Naugler of Millbury, Laura Colombo and Rita Yockel all of Worcester; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Kristen, Dawn, Christopher and Michael; three great grandchildren Chelsea, Tyler, and Logan; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her husband, a brother, Michael Lopriore, sister Mary Naugler and great grandson Alex Racine pre deceased her.

Rose was a devoted member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. She loved to sew, bake and be especially be with her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were very special in her life. None of her grandchildren could leave her company without getting a kiss. She was everybody’s rock, counsel and special person. Rose would never complain and always be there for everyone.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Friday, December 26th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be celebrated Saturday, December 27th from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd.
