Subscription Update Obituary

     Rose A. (Pace) Voutas, 94, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Knollwood Nursing Center. Her loving husband of forty-six years, Nicholas J. Voutas, pre-deceased her in 1993.

Rose is survived by her three sisters, Nina Crossman of Worcester, Elvira Benoit of Worcester, and Lucia Shulten and her husband Richard of Dennisport; a sister in law, Rosemary Pace of Worcester; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Pace. Rose was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Granata) Pace, and has lived here all her life.

Rose was an administrative assistant and executive secretary at the Central Mass Safety Council for many years, and had also worked at the Worcester Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Parish.

It was the request of Rose, that her services be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, Worcester, is assisting her family with arrangements.
