Subscription Update Obituary

   Robert P. Foley, Sr. of 11 Sunset Drive, died Tuesday, March 4 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a long illness at the age of 83.

   He leaves his wife of 63 years, Marjorie J. (Morin) Foley; his sons, Robert P. Foley, Jr. and his wife Donna of Leicester, Frederick A. Foley and his wife Karen of Smolan, KS, Stephen F. Foley and his wife Margaret of Worcester; and his daughter, Kathleen M. Brunnett of Webster. He was predeceased by his son Richard A. Foley of Leicester. He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Bob lived in Leicester his entire life and retired as the Postmaster of the Leicester Post Office, which he held for many years.

   Bob was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot and 1st. Lieutenant. He was a member of the Leicester Grange and a former Barbershop Quartet Singer for many years as well as being an avid golfer. He was loved by all and will be missed by all.

   A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m in the Morin-Morrison Funeral Home, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 9 to 10 a.m on Friday. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leicester Ambulance Fund, 3 Washburn Sq., Leicester 01524.
