Robert P. Currie, 79, of Holden, Massachusetts passed away December 14, 2022, in Worcester Massachusetts. Bob was born November 4, 1943, in Arlington, Massachusetts to Robert C. and Victoria (Caloggero) Currie.

Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Michelle (Boilard) Currie. He is also survived by his children from a previous marriage, his son, Robert P. Currie and his wife Wendy of Chelmsford, and daughter, Robin P. Currie of Worcester. Also, Bob is survived by his stepchildren, Jessica Hicks and her partner Elihu Tuttle of Nantucket; Matthew J. Hicks of Worcester; and Lindsay Muscarella and her husband Michael of Worcester. Additionally, Bob is survived by his 15 grandchildren: Candice, Marco, Victoria, Jennifer, Khrystina, Maria, Bobby, Jackie, Reese, Cameron, Conrad, Billy, Jack, Joe, and Murphy. His legacy will continue with his four great-granddaughters and four step-great-grandchildren.

Bob started consulting in 1973. His business grew into a successful company consulting dealers, distributors, and manufacturers of industrial equipment. Bob and Michelle became partners in the consulting firm in 1992. Currie Management Consultants, Inc. is entering its 50th year as a successful consulting firm and is now a third-generation business.

Bob was raised in Watertown and later in Lexington, Massachusetts. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1961. Bob loved sports. He played hockey, football, and his favorite, baseball. He was proud of being made an offer by the Philadelphia Phillies. He also had incredible insight as to the workings of coaching athletes to greatness. He was an avid sailor and was very much in his element on the ocean in one of his sailboats, his last one being the Victoria Marie named after Bob and Michelle’s mothers. Gardening, politics, cooking for his family, and spending time with his loved ones were some of his favorite activities. Bob was currently on the Board of Directors of “Yes We Care” a non-profit program in Worcester.

His commitment to his work was impeccable. Bob is praised by many as a leader, mentor, teacher, and role model to everyone he met. He had a dream to become a goat farmer, and we know he is shepherding some now in a better place.
