Subscription Update Obituary

     Robert K. “Bob” Fairbanks, 75, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 surrounded by his family.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Joan R. (Weagle) Fairbanks, two sons; Kevin M. Fairbanks and his wife Sue-Ellen of Cherry Valley and Kenny R. Fairbanks and his wife Chrissy of Auburn, a daughter Tracey E. Beaulac and her husband Jim of Auburn, a brother Richard Fairbanks and his wife Sue of Auburn, 9 grandchildren; Peter, Kaitlyn, Nicole, Amanda, Paul, Kenny Jr., Nicholas, Ashley and Alexis, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was born in Worcester, son of Henry and Lillian (Smith) Fairbanks. He graduated from Boys Trade. He was a machinist at Norton Co. for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Hadwen Park Congregational Church. He coached for the Auburn Little League for many years. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods Casino to play bingo. He loved to spend time with his family. Bob’s family would like to thank the staff at Divata Center for their kind and compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bob’s family on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 9:30-11:00 AM in Hadwen Park Congregational Church, 6 Clover Street, Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hadwen Park Congregational Church, 6 Clover Street, Worcester, MA 01603. BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street is directing funeral arrangements.
