Subscription Update Obituary

     Robert I. Houle, 86, of Leicester, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.

His wife, Shirley M. (Bruneau) Houle, died in December, 2012. He leaves a son David and his spouse, Michael Sullivan of Arlington; a sister, Barbara Brunelle of Auburn; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Gingras of Leicester, a brother-in-law, Philip Bruneau of Worcester. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother-in-law, Gerald Brunelle.

Robert was a timekeeper at the Wyman Gordon Company in Worcester. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He leaves many friends in the St. Aloysius / St. Jude Parish Community.

The funeral will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00 am at St. Aloysius / St. Jude Parish, 489 Pleasant St, Leicester. Calling hours will be held Friday, Sept 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Aloysius / St. Jude Parish, 489 Pleasant St, Leicester, MA 01524.
