Robert William Grosse, Jr, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, from complications of respiratory disease at the young age of 35.

Bobby “The Big Guy” was born in Worcester, raised in Holden, and graduated from Wachusett High School.  He has lived in Holden for more than 28 years.  Bobby worked as the logistics manager for the Clariant Company in Holden for the past 8 years.

He is survived by his parents, Robert W. Grosse Sr, and Debera Ann (Whalen) Grosse, his sister, Melissa Candice Grosse; paternal grandmother, Lois Ann Grosse and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and the most amazing  friends anyone could ask for.  Bobby had a huge heart, loved his family and friends, and enjoyed many great times with them, which meant the world to him.   Bobby’s presence would light up any room he entered with a bright smile  and welcoming attitude.  He will forever be missed and loved.  The Angel’s have taken Bobby to heaven,  and we will all see him again.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Friday, September 24th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St.   His Celebration of Christian burial Mass will be held Saturday, September 25th at 12 noon in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street.  (Please go directly to church).  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
