Rita M. (Sinkavich) Guillotte, 83, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, July 8, 2017.  She was a daughter of Joseph and Julia (Bakanas) Sinkavich and a graduate of Commerce High School where she was a drum major for the Lithuanian Drum Corps.

She will be forever missed by her children including her daughter, Tina Guillotte of Worcester; her four sons, Mark F. Guillotte and his wife, Sheila of Holden, Michael J. Guillotte of Worcester, Thomas J. Guillotte of Worcester and John A. Guillotte and Lynn McGurl-Guillotte of Oxford; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her three sisters, Julia Krasinkas of Oxford, Gloria Cichy of Millbury and Cynthia March of Charlton.  In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by a granddaughter.

Rita was a bookkeeper for Margin Trucking Company for fifteen years and a former member of Our Lady of Vilna Church in Worcester.  In her later years, she could often be found with a crossword puzzle or two while watching soap operas in her comfy chair in the parlor.  Family and friends would often stop by to visit with her and when it was time to go, Rita would always say those two little words…”drive careful.”

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 14, at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of the Northeast, 1661 Worcester Road, #301, Framingham, MA 01701.
