Subscription Update Obituary

     Richard E. Fresolo, 76, of Auburn, passed away on January 24, 2018 at Lanessa Extended Care Center in Webster after a period of declining health.

Richard was born in Worcester, a son of the late Rocco A. and Dorothy M. (Bowns) Fresolo, Sr. He attended Worcester schools and at the age of 18 enlisted in the United States Army Reserves. Richard was a sheet metal worker for the Local Union 107. He also co-owned with his brother J & R Sheet Metal for many years.

Richard is survived by a son, Joseph M. Fresolo of Auburn; three granddaughters, Toni Marie Barbieri, Emily and Maria Fresolo all of Millbury; four sisters and his brother, Louise Tula, Dorothy Kamendulis both of Shrewsbury, Ronald J. Fresolo and his wife Nancy of Albuquerque, NM, Irene Fresolo of Worcester and Terese Zalieckas and her husband Anthony of Shrewsbury; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Fresolo and Harriet Fresolo; many loving nieces and nephews and their families. Richard is predeceased by his wife Joan (Archambo) Fresolo; his son, Michael Fresolo; two brothers, Rocco A. Fresolo, Jr. and Joseph P. Fresolo; two sisters, Marie Bisceglia and her husband Matteo and Marjorie Duquette and her husband Albert; his brother-in-law, Francis Kamendulis.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at Lanessa Extended Care Center for the care that Richard received.

Services for Richard were held privately and burial was in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester was honored to have assisted the family with arrangements.
