Subscription Update Obituary

Raymond Nils Ronander,76, of Pine St., died Sunday, Nov 7 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 40 years, Charlene E. (Henderson) Ronander, his daughters; Lisa Russell and her husband Jeff of Spencer, Lori Ronander of Leicester and Melinda Jackson of Manchester, CT., 5 grandchildren; Jesseca, Matthew, Amber, Kerra and Dakota, 2 great grandchildren; Aleena and Grayson.

He was born in Boston, the son of Nils Caleb and Evelyn E. (Johnson) Ronander and later graduated from South High School in Worcester. Ray was a maintenance mechanic for several area manufacturing businesses before retiring in 2016. He was a longtime volunteer at the Leicester Recycling Center since its inception.
Ray was a member, since 1998 of the Olive Branch Lodge AF&AM in Millbury, member of the Scottish Right and the Melha Shriners in Springfield. He was a 32nd. Degree Mason. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed time with his family.

A Masonic Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 11 to 1p.m. The family requests that masks or face coverings be worn in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later time for the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, Ma 01104 or Salvation Army, 640 Main St., Worcester, MA 01608.
