Subscription Update Obituary

    Raymond H. Oliver, 63, of 109 Merrifield St. died yesterday in Hahnemann Hospital after a brief illness. 

    He was a machine repairman the past five years for Astra Pharmaceutical Products, Inc., and previously worked many years as a printer at LaVigne Press Inc.  Mr. Oliver was an Army veteran of World War II and had served in the European Theater. 

    He leaves his widow, Clara A. (Sjolander) Oliver; two sons, George S. and James R. Oliver both of Worcester; a daughter, Barbara J., wife of Albert Ferguson of Manassas, Va.; a sister, Irene, wife of Stephen Stone of West Palm Beach, Fla., and a grandson, Keith T. Oliver of Manassas.  He was born in Worcester, son of Herbert R. and Delia R. (Robillard) Oliver.  

    The funeral will be held Friday from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., with a Mass at 9 am in Notre Dame Church, Salem Square.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park Paxton.  Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 pm tomorrow.
