Subscription Update Obituary

     Randolph “Randy” I. Joppas, 62, of Worcester died peacefully on October 5, 2014.

Randy grew up in Worcester, one of 10 children. He attended Worcester Public Schools and worked as a landscaper and paver. Randy was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms and enjoyed the simple things.

He is predeceased by his parents Florena (Wilson) Joppas and John H. Joppas of Worcester, and his sister Julie (Joppas) McAdam of Worcester. Also, his beloved cat of many years Fatso.

Randy leaves behind 8 siblings including John Joppas Jr., Gary and Donna Joppas, Deborah Grebel,

Timothy Joppas and Nancy Swedberg all of Worcester; William and Ann Joppas of Spencer, Karen and

Rick Stepien of West Boylston, Linda Konisky of Millbury, Karl and Robin Joppas of Webster, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. Friends and family are encouraged to attend graveside services at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton on Friday, October 17, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond Street is directing arrangements.
