Subscription Update Obituary

     Rachel I. (Bourque) Belliveau, 80, of Comins Road, died Monday, June 3, 2019, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leo-Paul Belliveau of North Oxford; three children, Guy Belliveau of North Oxford, Nannette Belliveau and her husband Raoul of Nova Scotia, Canada, and Robert Belliveau of Belchertown; a sister, Antoinette Gautreau of New Brunswick, Canada; two granddaughters, Jessica Botello and her husband Alex, and Stephanie Burlock and her husband Kyle, all of Texas; two great-granddaughters, Lily and Gwen Burlock, both of Texas; and many nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by a daughter, Julia Belliveau who died in 1980; and five sisters, Anita Gautreau, Germaine Nolan, Emma Nordstrom, Simonne Roberts, and Fern Belliveau. She was born in Scoudouc, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Alphee and Hermeline (Belliveau) Bourque, and lived in Oxford for over 50 years.

Mrs. Belliveau was a homemaker who raised her family and cared for her home for many years. She was a member of the Ladies’ Guild at St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish in Leicester.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019, at St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish, 489 Pleasant Street, Leicester. Burial will be private at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Memorial calling hours are Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind, 1401 South Clark St., Suite 730, Arlington, VA 22202.
