Subscription Update Obituary

     Priscilla J. (Adams) Gull, 75, died peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2018 at UMass Memorial Health Care – Memorial Campus, Worcester. She was born in Worcester, the beloved daughter of Clifford L. and Gunhilde (Sakrison) Adams and lived most of her life in Holden.

Priscilla was predeceased by her beloved husband of 30 years, Dr. Michael V. Gull in 1995. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Jeffrey A. Gull and his wife, Lorie of Rutland and Matthew R. Gull and his wife, Laura of Holden; her brothers, Robert C. Adams and his wife, Joanna of Northborough, Dean R. Adams and his wife, Joanne of Sanbornton, NH and Jeffrey L. Adams and his wife, Bridget of Barre; four grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary, Andrew and Kaitlin; as well as 16 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her niece, Susanna Adams.

Priscilla graduated from Wachusett High School and went on to study at Humboldt Institute in Minneapolis. She met the love of her life, Dr. Michael V. Gull while working in Washington D.C. The couple married and settled in Holden. Priscilla worked at Dr. Gull’s Dental office in Holden and for 30 years as an interior plantscaper for the former Accents in Green Co., retiring in 2011. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holden. Priscilla’s greatest joy was to be the number one fan and supporter for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews at their sporting events. She loved baseball and was an avid Red Sox fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20th at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A Funeral Service honoring and celebrating Priscilla’s life will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 21st at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
