Subscription Update Obituary

     Philip H. Fisher, 87, of Worcester, passed away Sunday, January 24th in Beaumont Nursing Center. He leaves his former wife, Paula R. (Wilson) Fisher; three sons, Philip Fisher of Trinity, FL, Eliot Fisher and his wife Joan of Worcester, and Edward Fisher and his wife Charran of Worcester; two brothers, Floyd Fisher of Worcester and Carthur Fisher of Falmouth; two sisters, Sheila Troy and Vonda Moore of Worcester; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Fisher in 1979.

He was born in Worcester, the son of George and Charlotte (Dyer) Fisher, and lived here all his life. Philip owned and operated Fisher & Sons Trucking Company for more than 45 years. He enjoyed spending time at his home in Mashpee on Cape Cod, the ocean and fishing. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving, generous person and a friend to all.

Calling hours are Thursday, January 28th from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. His burial will be private.
