Subscription Update Obituary

     Philip C. Conner, 80, passed away on Monday, July 27th after a lengthy illness.

Philip is predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Pearl Ann (Scott) Conner. He is survived by Scott Conner and his wife, Grace of Spencer, Wayne Conner of Annapolis, MD, Kristen Atchue and her husband, Wayne of Auburn, Stacey Soter and her husband, Mark of Sutton; seven grandchildren, Andrzej and Alexander Conner of Spencer, Stephanie Moore of Leicester, Samantha Atchue of Auburn, Erin Atchue of Shrewsbury, Courtney Soter and Eric Soter of Sutton; two great grandchildren, Bradley and Lucas; a brother, Allyn Conner and his wife, Ruth of Harwich Port; dear companion Judith Gendreau; many nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by brothers, Herbert L. Conner and Louis Walberg.

Phil was self-employed in the automotive industry for most of his life. Most recently he was owner of New England Truck Stop in Sturbridge. Phil was the President of the Friends of the Millbury Seniors and enjoyed donating his time at the Millbury Senior Center for many years. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Phil loved to golf, travel and fly his plane. He left an imprint on everyone he met. He was a good and special friend to many. He was, one hell of a guy and will certainly be missed by all.

The family extends special thanks to the staff at Millbury Health Care Center.

Phil’s funeral service and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River Street, Millbury, MA 01527.
