Subscription Update Obituary

     Peter C. Brosnan, 28, of Dorchester and formerly of Worcester, died Friday, February 16, 2018 at Mass. General Hospital in Boston after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis and cancer.

Peter was born in Bogota, Colombia, and moved to Worcester as an infant. He leaves his mother Linda K. (Ondracek) Brosnan and his stepfather Richard of Marlborough, and his father Cornelius Brosnan of Worcester. He is also survived by and was very close to his aunt and uncle Carol and Al Polselli, and his aunt Charlotte Perry and Ray Bull. He was also very close to his cousins Gina Polselli Moller and family, Tara Crandall and family, Lisa Craner and family, and Karrie Ondracek, and his best friend Angelo Leone and Stephanie Gaboury. He also had several other uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Peter attended Venerini Academy in Worcester, graduated from St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury in 2007, and attended St. Peter’s University in Jersey City, N.J.

Peter worked as an administrative assistant for organizations in the Boston area.

He was a member of the wresting team at St. John’s High School. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. He was also a major movie buff and cherished his moments with friends and family.

Calling hours are Thursday, February 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral Mass will be Friday, February 23, at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
