Subscription Update Obituary

Paul R. Bachand, 79, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.

Paul was born June 24, 1939 to his parents Henri and Meriel (Berberian) Bachand. He graduated from South High School in 1957. He was a long time employee of Frem Corp. as a Traffic Control Manager before retiring from Aero Plastics. Paul was a loving and dedicated family man with a gentle soul.

He was survived by his wife Ernestine “Tina” Bachand. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lydia (Mayo) Bachand and a daughter Polly Ann Bachand. He leaves five children, Christopher Strew and his wife Kelly Strew of Fort Pierce, FL, Lori Romero of Worcester, Andrew Bachand and his wife Sarah Avery of Warren, Tina Chaput and her husband Daniel Chaput of North Brookfield, and Sarah Carey of Worcester. He leaves 13 grandchildren including his lil’ buddy, Daniel Chaput, Jr., 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 4-6 pm in Pillsbury Funeral Home located at 163 Main St., Spencer. Following cremation, burial will be at Worcester Memorial Park in Paxton.
