Patricia (Marziotti) Duggan, 67, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully at her home in Bailey, Colorado on Sunday, March 12, 2017 after an illness. Born and raised in Worcester, Pat was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Catherine T. (Baronas) Marziotti and lived the last 24 years in Colorado.

Pat was a graduate of Worcester Girls Trade High School in Worcester and was a dance instructor for over 30 years. She studied dance for many years and received private lessons in Boston as well as New York City. While living in Merrimack New Hampshire, she owned and operated the Rousseau School for the Performing Arts.  In 1993, she moved to Colorado where she opened Terpsichore Dance Studio in Bailey which she owned until last September. She was also an instructor in yoga, Tai Chi, and palates. Pat’s kindness and understanding were boundless. And she loved sharing her gifts and talents with her students. It has been said that “Great dancers are not great because of their technic; they are great dancers because of their passion.”  Pat was blessed with a passion for dancing and living every day to its fullest. She will be remembered for her love of animals including her beloved Pomeranians that she adopted throughout the years.

She will be remembered affectionately by her brother, Joseph Marziotti of Worcester, many cousins, and her dear friends and recent caregivers, Roxanne Turnbull, David Duggan, and her nurse Chris. And the many, many students and their parents with whom she worked and whom she loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pat’s family from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, followed by a procession to St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street (Rte. 12), Worcester where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
