Subscription Update Obituary

     Pasquale J. Marziotti, 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at UMass Memorial Healthcare – University Campus after an illness.

Pasquale was born in Worcester, the son of Domenico and Crocefissa (Dentino) Marziotti and lived most of his life in Worcester. After high school, he enlisted in the Navy during World War II and received the Asiatic Pacific Area Ribbon, the American Area Ribbon and the World War II Victory Medal. Pasquale started his own plastering business and worked for many years until he retired. Previously he worked at Wickwire-Spencer Company in Worcester as a spring maker.

He leaves a son, Joseph C. Marziotti of Worcester; a daughter, Patricia A. Duggan of Bailey, CO; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Catherine T. (Baronas) Marziotti, who passed away in 2008; a brother, Louis Marzziotti and three sisters, Lena Ciociolo, Josephine Ferrante and Victoria Buffone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street, Worcester. Burial with military honors will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
