Olinda (Linda) J. Granger, 98, gracefully departed this world on January 4th, 2024, at The Willows Healthcare Center in Worcester, MA. The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff at The Willows for their unwavering care and compassion during her time there.

Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert Granger, her sister Aurea Duggan, and her brother, Dr. Silverio Almeida. She leaves behind a legacy of love survived by her sons, Robert of Naples, Florida, Stephen and wife Cynthia of Naples, Florida and daughter Deborah of Paxton, Massachusetts. Additionally, she is remembered lovingly by her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Linda was born in Milford, Massachusetts, on July 6th, 1925, and proudly graduated from Commerce High School. Her professional journey led her to State Mutual Insurance, until she dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. An active participant in various clubs, Linda held the esteemed position of lifelong member and President of the Worcester Emblem Club.

Her enthusiasm for life and love of camaraderie were evident in her membership with the Tuesday Afternoon Bowling League and the Hillcrest Ladies Golf League. Linda’s passion for golf spanned over two decades, and she joyously shared this love with her children.

Burial services will be private. The family will hold a celebration of Linda’s life in the Spring of 2024. Donations in her memory may be made to Assumption College, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA, 01609.
