With heavy hearts and tearful eyes, we announce the passing of Nana Adwoa Kyeremateng of Worcester on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. She was 37 years old.  Born on January 20, 1986, Nana Adwoa Kyeremateng was a remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest.

After graduating high school from Oxford high school in Kumasi Ghana. She came to join her parents in America and went on to attend Mount Wachusett community college, where she obtained her Nursing degree. She recently also obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science at Maryland university.

Nana had an unwavering passion for healthy living, travel, and fashion. A dedicated advocate for healthy living, she embraced clean eating, exercise, and wellness as not just a lifestyle but a philosophy that she wholeheartedly shared with those around her.

In the world of fashion, Nana Adwoa was a true connoisseur. Her sense of style was an art form. She had the remarkable ability to transform even the simplest outfit into a fashion statement. Her creativity and flair for fashion made her stand out, and she embraced it with genuine love for self-expression.

Above all, Nana Adwoa was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. Her radiant smile and boundless kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her. She taught us that even in the face of adversity, life is a beautiful gift to be treasured.

In addition to her parents, Nana is survived by her loving siblings, Kwesi Kyeremateng, Nana Pomaa Kyeremateng, Nick (Agya Yaw) Kyeremateng and Kwame Peprah Kyeremateng, her adored grandparents, her cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Nana Adwoa Kyeremateng will be held on December 2, 2023, at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Calling hours will be from 9:00am to 10:00am and Funeral Service will begin at 10:00am in the Funeral Home with interment to follow at WORCESTER COUNTY MEMORIAL PARK,217 Richards Ave, Paxton. The Funeral Service will be Livestreamed for anyone who is unable to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family Kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer research foundation at UMASS in Nana Adwoa Kyeremateng’s honor.
