Subscription Update Obituary

     N. Anita (Cole) Nideur, 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Paul G. and Jane A. (Waterhouse) Cole.

She leaves her loving husband of 13 years, Jeffrey W. Nideur; her son, Donald Doherty and his wife, Christina of Princeton; her daughter, Shelly Doherty-Travers and her husband, Dan of Spencer; three sisters, Paulette Cole-Loranger of Charlton, Gail Philbrook of Billerica and Shelly Henderson of West Boylston; three grandchildren, Shaelynn, Brynn and Payten; and several nieces and nephews.

Anita graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and most recently worked at the Thomas Prince Middle School in Princeton. Previously, she was a real estate agent for many years at Paula K. Aberman Associates, Inc. in Lancaster. She was a member of the First Church in Sterling and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #477 in Leominster. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and socializing.

A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Why Me, 1152 Pleasant Street, Worcester, MA 01602. Arrangements are under the care of the of the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
