Subscription Update Obituary

Michael S. Lacilla, 37, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, after an illness. He was born in Worcester the son of the late Stephen A. Lacilla.

He leaves his mother, Marydonna J. (Owens) Lacilla; his sister, Lisa M. Lacilla of West Boylston; his nephew and Godson, Mark Lacilla of West Boylston; his uncles, Jim Owens of Acton and David Lacilla of Fernandina Beach, FL; his aunts, Erin Owens of Fitchburg, Kerry Ball of Glenallen, VA and Lois Hall of San Marcos, CA; his cousins, Ryan and Tarina Owens, Patrick Ball, Stephanie Antonetti and Lauren Mieczkowski; and good friends.

Michael was a salesman at Autowright Motor Company in West Boylston for several years. He was a talented mechanic who was always working on or collecting automobiles. Michael looked forward to vacationing with his family every summer at Cape Cod, trips to the beach, traveling on cruises and all types of music. He was an avid sports fan, had a keen fashion sense and was a connoisseur for food. Michael will be fondly remembered for his caring nature and his love of family and friends. Mike was very fond of his nephew, Mark always buying him great presents and playing with cars. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Michael’s family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15th at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 16th at St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton St., Jefferson. Interment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
