Subscription Update Obituary

   Matilda M. (Mobilio) Milosh, 79, of Worcester, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 31st 2008, in her home, surrounded by her devoted family.

   Matilda is survived by her dedicated husband and partner of 55 years, Frank E. Milosh; her devoted children, Stephen E. Milosh and his wife Cherie of Charlton, David A. Milosh and his wife Valerie of Dudley, Karen A. Rose and her husband Brent of Holden; five cherished grandchildren, Gina, Lisa, Erica, Lauren and Jacob; a sister, Louise Filomeno of Haverhill; many nieces and nephews. Two grandchildren Paul Milosh and Emily Rose and nine siblings predeceased her.

   Matilda was born in Worcester, one of eleven children of the late Felix and Bernadette (Schiavone) Mobilio. She graduated from Commerce High, and has lived here all her life. Tillie worked for the City of Worcester, School Department as an Educational secretary many years before retiring.

   She was a member of St. Christopher Church. She enjoyed luncheons with her friends, the theatre, concerts, day trips in New England, and wild flowers. Autumn was her favorite time of year. She had a beautiful singing voice, and a talent for creative writing and poetry. Tillie's husband, children and grandchildren were considered Treasures by her.

   The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 3rd from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 350 Plantation St. 01604.
