Matthew Kielion, 89, of 133 Podunk Rd., passed away Sunday in Autumn Village Skilled Nursing Center.
He leaves his wife of 59 years Mary E. (Eldridge) Kielion; a son, Michael Kielion & his wife Deborah of Holden; a daughter, Gale Audette & her husband Michael of West Brookfield; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander, Emily Audette, Michael & Courtney Kielion and a great-grandson Henry Audette.
Matthew was born in Ware, the son of Albert & Julia (Gura) Kielion and has been a lifelong resident of East Brookfield. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving overseas. Mr. Kielion worked for various construction companies for many years before he retired.
The funeral for Mr. Kielion will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 from Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte 9/Old West Brookfield Rd. with a 10:00 AM Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, North Brookfield Rd., East Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton with Military Honors. Callings hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the funeral home.
