Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary M. (Duggan) Chojnacki, 90, of Collier Circle died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 in Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, West Brookfield after an illness.

Her husband, Carl F. Chojnacki died in 1994. She leaves a daughter Karen D. Smith and her husband Dan of Spencer, two granddaughters Gwendolyn Smith of Spencer and Vanessa Lamonte and her husband Richard of San Diego, CA and a great-granddaughter Maya Jayne Lamonte.

Mrs. Chojnacki was born in Worcester, daughter of Richard and Stella (Pariseau) Duggan. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish. She lived at Seabury Heights in Worcester for many years and was very active organizing and attending resident activities. She volunteered for the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind as a driver for many years and was a longtime senior aide at the St. Francis Nursing Home day program. She enjoyed trips to the casino with her family. The family would like to thank Summit Eldercare for the many years she spent in their day program and also the loving staff at Quaboag Rehabilitation and skilled Nursing Center for their compassionate care.

The Funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 9:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry, 60 Maple Street, Spencer, MA 01562.
