Mary Hally Murphy, 88, of Worcester, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital Saturday, August 19, 2023, peacefully listening to her favorite songs.

Mary was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Louise (Hinney) Hally.

Mary enjoyed shopping, making people happy and making them laugh. She would buy Christmas in July on QVC for Christmas deals. She also enjoyed the casino, scratch tickets, and listening to music on Alexa.

Mary was proud of her Irish heritage making St. Patrick’s Day corned beef and cabbage.

Later in life she was a personal companion for the elderly and they couldn’t do better.  Mary loved a clean house.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary’s family would like to give special thanks to the ICU staff at St. Vincent’s and to her two friends Julia Cross and Patty Dooley.
