Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary E. (Ventura) Chiapulis, of West Boylston passed away Sunday, February 8th 2015 from injuries suffered in a car accident in Connecticut. She was 55 years of age.

Mary was born in Worcester on August 8th 1959, to the late Louis C. and Rita (Chilberto) Ventura. She graduated from Worcester Public Schools; then earned a medical certification from Salter School. She lived most of her life in Worcester, and Dudley before moving in with her sister in West Boylston.

Mary worked as a sales associate for The WalMart Company for over 5 years. She previously worked many years for the State of Massachusetts in the University of Mass Hospital emergency department as registration clerk.

Mary is survived by the family she loved so much; her two children, Ashley and Ryan Cunningham both of Worcester; her two sisters, Patricia Dunlap with whom she lived, Francesca Sabo and her husband Carl Sabo, Jr. of Franklin Tenn.; a step sister, Diane Downey and her husband Matthew of Mattapoist; two grandchildren, Lexi Beauregard and Bella Cunningham; A niece Lisa Boucher and her husband Jon of Oakham and a nephew Joseph Vecchio of Worcester; a stepmother, Rose Ventura of Worcester; Extended family members and friends.

Funerals services for Mary will be held Saturday, February 14th at 10:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. A period of calling hours will be held Saturday, February 14th from 9:00 am to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Road, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
