Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary E. (Healy) Butterfield, passed away Thursday, March 5th, 2015, one day after her 96th birthday at Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Mary was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Harry M. and Lima G. (Tuson) Healy, and has lived in Holden for 46 years.

Mary retired as a draftsman from the former Heald Machine Division of Cincinnati Milacron where she had worked for many years. She enjoyed bowling and loved line-dancing. She was a member of Saint Christopher’s Parish, Worcester.

Mary was predeceased her husband of 50 years, George Butterfield. Mary is survived by her daughter, Joyce Wilkinson; her grandson, David Cox; a god child, Paul Tucson; along with many other nieces, nephews, and extended family that loved her deeply. Mary also leaves her close friends, Linda and her daughter Emily, and Louise, who were always there for Mary in her later years. She also leaves her friend Mickey with whom she shared many laughs. Her close companion later on in her life, Walter also predeceased her

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m on Tuesday, March 10 at Saint Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
