Subscription Update Obituary

Mary D. (Granger) Laramee, 77 of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the Jewish Healthcare Center with her family by her side.

Mary was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late George R. and Katherine (Michalak) Granger and was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class of 1966. She worked as a dispatcher for NSTAR, now known at Eversource, for over 25 years retiring in 2005. Some of Mary’s favorite and current past times were bingo, crossword puzzles, the New England Patriots especially Gronk, playing on her iPad, watching Seinfeld and visiting her home in Maine for many years with her husband Paul.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Laramee; her son, Justin Robbins and his wife Kelly of Spencer; her twin daughters, Jaime and Jennifer Robbins both of Holden; her granddaughter, Aryana Hopkins and her fiancé Adam Whitney of Auburn; a sister, Nancy Dion of Worcester; two stepsons, Roger Laramee and his wife Jami and Brian Laramee and his wife Sonia all of Maine; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jaydon Andujar; two brothers, Arthur and Thomas Granger and a sister, Carole Gamble.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 4-7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3rd at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
