Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary M. (Gallagher) Carling, 82, of Worcester passed Thursday, September 7 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Her husband, Thomas Carling passed away in 2006. She leaves three children, Thomas Carling and his wife, Valerie of Tiverton, RI, Lorraine Honor Jennette of Worcester, and Marie Hughes and her finance, Gerald Dube of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Melissa, Mary, Edward, Thomas, Rose, Michael, Haley and Danielle; a great-granddaughter, Angelina; a daughter-in-law, Karen Carling of Holden; a brother, David Gallagher of Scotland; a sister, Cecelia Kearney of England and nieces and nephews. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland daughter of Francis and Honor (McSorley) Gallagher.
Mary worked at the Produx Company for 30 years, before retiring. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Mary was a wonderful mother and treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 14 at 10:00am in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, VNA Care Fund Development Office, 199 Rosewood Dr., Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923.
