Mary A. (Masiello) Zereski 97 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday July 4th , 2018 at Dodge Park Rest Home which was her home for the last 8 years.  Her husband Joseph Zereski predeceased her in 1997, her son Joseph passed away in 2010, as well as her son Richard, who passed away in 2017.  She is survived by her two grandsons, Keith Zereski and his companion Julie Swiberska, Lee Zereski and his wife Kathleen, two great granddaughters Andrea and Hannah all of Barre, her daughter in-law Gayle Anderson-Zereski of Worcester, two sisters Yolanda Landry of Ashland and Rose Mungeon of Westboro.  She is predeceased by five brothers and four sisters.  She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She loved to crochet, making everyone an afghan.  She included making afghans for family members that were not even born yet.  Her great great grandchildren will all be getting them.  What a wonderful treasure to pass down.

Mary had a kind soul and always gave you a smile, a hug or a kiss.  She lived in Worcester her whole life, working many years at Astra Pharmaceutical which she retired from in 1986.  Her faith was a big part of her life as she will be remembered and missed by many.

Mary’s family would like to thank everyone at Dodge Park that took care of Mary, you were a part of her extended family and we will always be grateful.  Thank you also to JHC Hospice for your help and compassion.

Mary’s funeral will be held on Wednesday beginning with a calling hour from 9 to 10am at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. followed by a Mass at Immaculate Conception Church 353 Grove St. Worcester at 11am.  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mary’s memory to the Dodge Park Activity Fund,  101 Randolph Rd Worcester, Ma 01606 or to Immaculate Conception Church 353 Grove St. Worcester 01605
