Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary A. (Henderson) Mezzano, of Jupiter Florida, formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully Monday, May 18th 2015 reuniting with her devoted husband of 55 years Charles “Coke” Mezzano in heaven whom passed away on November 14, 2013.

Mary is survived by two brothers, Russell T. Henderson and his wife Grace of Rutland and Dr. George Henderson and his wife Susanne of Wilmington, Delaware; many nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late George W. and Helen E. (Lawlor) Henderson. She lived in Worcester most of her life before moving to Jupiter, Florida where she has lived for many years. Mary graduated from Salters Secretarial School and was later an office assistant for a time at Woodbury Printing. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Mary loved children and not being blessed with any children of her own, her beloved nieces and nephews were the children she never had.

Services for Mary will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St., Worcester. Burial next to her husband will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 28th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Our Lady of the Rosary Building Fund, 23 Fales St., Worcester, MA. 01606.
