Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary A. (Lynch) Lamoureux, 89, of Holden, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Her husband, Raymond E. Lamoureux, died in 1989. She leaves four sons, Paul and his wife Suzanne of Worcester, Richard and his wife Deborah of Port Orchard, WA, Gary and his wife Tami of Arizona, and Robert and his wife Angela of Worcester; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Alice F. Engelhorn of Knoxville, TN; a sister-in-law, Anne M. Carnazza Lynch of Spencer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen M. Lynch, and a brother, William J. Lynch. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William F. and Helen E. (Sweeny) Lynch.

Mary enjoyed reading, baking and was a skilled seamstress. She graduated from Traphagen School of Design in New York City. She thoroughly enjoyed holidays and spending time with her family. Mary also volunteered at the Mill Swan School in Worcester assisting with special needs children.

The funeral will be held Monday, November 30, from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., Worcester with an 11:00 am Mass at Christ The King Church, 1052 Pleasant St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, November 30, from 9:00 – 10:15 am at the funeral home.
