Subscription Update Obituary

Marion F. (Primeau) St. Amand, 84, passed away on July 9, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Marion was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Nelson and Gladys (Standring) Primeau. She leaves her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Edward H. St. Amand; two children, Donna Madadian and her husband, Brad and Jeffrey St. Amand; two granddaughters, Sacha Madadian and Danielle St. Amand; her pen pal Angela of England whom she has corresponded with for 70 years and her dear friend of many years, Frannie Phelan. She is now and will always be solely missed by her family and friends.

She attended Commerce High School in Worcester and worked mainly in the food service industrly. She also held positions in retail, factory, and warehouse industries. Her employment included many years at the White House Restaurant in Worcester, the Chez Ami in Westborough, the Long Island Restaurant and Donut Express in Worcester.

She enjoyed passing time, knitting, piecing together jigsaw puzzles that tested her ingenuity and knowledge, being challenged by Sudoku or a good crossword puzzle. Additionally, she had a love for musicals, country music, watching made-for-TV movies, meeting friends for a cup of coffee and dining out with her husband. Most of all, she had a passion for entertaining her friends and family at home.

Funeral services will be held privately and are in the care of Callahan, Fay, & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
