Subscription Update Obituary

     Marion R. (Ludvigson) Lysiak, 90, a longtime Worcester resident died peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2017 at CareOne at Millbury.

Marion was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Gustave and Agnes (Werner) Ludvigson. She graduated from the former Commerce High School. Marion worked for many years as a secretary, including the former Hadley Furniture and Sharfman’s Jewelry Store, Worcester where she met her future husband, Stanley. She enjoyed line dancing and swimming in her spare time.

For 59 years, Marion was the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Lysiak, Jr. who died in 2010. She leaves her two children, Linda Kneeland of Westborough with whom she lived for several years and Janice C. Dumas of Worcester; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren, Shawn Kneeland, Jody Dumas and Kelly Kneeland. She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Ludvigson.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marion’s family on Wednesday, May 1, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the LINDQUIST-LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street, Worcester. Her funeral will then be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 600 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
