Marilyn L. (Cook) Lempicki, 95, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, February 14, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Bernard “Benny” Lempicki, who passed in 2014. Marilyn leaves her devoted son, Bernard A. “Bernie” Lempicki and his wife Gail, of Leicester; her cherished grandchildren, Keith Lempicki and his wife Michelle, of Auburn, Tracy Bombard and her husband Glen, of Spencer, and Jill Egan and her husband Joshua, of Auburn; her great-grandchildren, Cam Egan, Addi Egan, Sarah Lempicki, and Ryan Lempicki; her former daughter-in-law, Karen; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Eileen Davis and Clinton Cook; and their parents, Roy and Doris (Berglund) Cook.

Marilyn was born, raised, and educated in Worcester, as she was a 1947 graduate of Commerce High School. She worked in several different companies in Worcester throughout her career.

In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed playing the piano, selling her crafts on Cape Cod, and spending summers in Eastham with her family.

The Lempicki family would like to thank the staff at the Jewish Healthcare Center, for the wonderful care she received at the Eisenberg Assisted Living and during her time in hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the JHC Assisted Living Corporation.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Marilyn’s family to celebrate her life with a service at 10 AM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Pakachoag Church, 203 Pakachoag Street, Auburn. Burial will be held privately. The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with arrangements.
