Subscription Update Obituary

     Marilyn F. (Gilchrist) Gouin 71, of Maple St., died Thursday, June 21 at home. Her husband of 49 years, George N. Gouin died Nov. 6th. 2017.

She leaves her son Joseph A. Gouin of Milford, daughters Anne Marie Gouin of Manhattan, NY., and Elaine M. Gouin of Worcester, her sisters Sheila E. Gilchrist of New Boston, NH and Faye T. Fafard and her husband Michael of New Ipswich, NH., a brother David G. Gilchrist of Worcester, grandchildren Ryan Poma of Fitchburg, Caitlyn and Kiley Gouin of Southbridge, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Thomas Gilchrist, Jr. and a sister Kathleen Gilchrist, her paternal grandmother Lillian (Kearney) Gilchrist and a special uncle Ernest Gilchrist.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri she was the daughter of Thomas F. and Maxine (Craig) Gilchrist, Sr., and raised by Thomas and Barbara (Morrow) Gilchrist along with her 5 siblings.

She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish. Marilyn, loved and focus was on her church and family.

Marilyn’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 26 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a funeral mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home on Tuesday. Memorial donations may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, 60 Maple St., Spencer, 01562.
