Subscription Update Obituary

     Marie J. (St. Onge) Roberge, 96, of 51 Hospital Road, died peacefully Saturday morning, October 31st, with her son at her side.

She was born in Southbridge, MA on September 20, 1919, daughter of the late William and Flora (Normandin) St. Onge and grew up in Southbridge.

Marie lived for a short time in Providence, RI until settling with her family in Worcester, where she lived for many years. In 2005, she moved to Gardner, where she lived until the last two years. She was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church in Worcester. A devoted housewife and mother to her two sons, she was an avid reader and enjoyed going out to dinner.

Her husband, Lucien R. Roberge, died many years ago. She leaves two sons, Richard R. Roberge and his wife Diane of Palm Coast, FL and Rev. Francis A. Roberge of Baldwinville; a brother, Robert Chalifoux of Millbury; four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and one nephew. She was predeceased by two siblings, Doris Krafve and Francis Chalifoux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 9th at 10 A.M. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Calling hours in St. Vincent de Paul Church will be Sunday. November 8th from 3 to 5 P.M.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church, PO Box 14, Baldwinville, MA 01436. Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon is directing arrangements.
