Subscription Update Obituary

     Marie Exilda (Dionne) Emond, 82, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014, in Saint Vincent Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Paul O. Emond; a son, Edward Emond and his wife Deborah of Worcester; three daughters, Donna Aucoin and her husband Roland of Oxford, Paula D’Onofrio and her husband William of Fuquay Varina, NC, and Mary Copeland and her husband Jason of Worcester; nine grandchildren, Timothy, Christopher, Andrew, Derek, Alisha, William, Jessica, James, and Adam; six great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lucas, Liliana, Winnie, Grace, and Emma. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Henry and Margaret (Daigneault) Dionne, and has lived here all her life.

Marie worked as a nurse’s aide at the Blair House and at Saint Vincent Hospital, for many years, before she retired. She was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Church. She enjoyed shopping, crochet and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

The family would like to thank the great people at Summit Eldercare, their compassion and care was greatly appreciated.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Monday, October 20, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
