Subscription Update Obituary

     Margaret D. (Vollo) Riganati, 83, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Catherine (Schneider) and Michael Vollo.

Margaret devoted herself to being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves her loved and treasured family, sons John Riganati and Rocco Riganati; daughters, Catherine and her husband, William Magnusson, and Dorothea Riganati; 6 grandchildren, John, Michael, Eddie, Gina, Jillian, and Deana; 5 great-grandchildren. Margie was a dear and unforgettable friend.

She was devoutly faithful to Jesus Christ and walked her life’s journey with Him. She never hesitated to share Him with family and friends. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a team leader for the Life in the Spirit seminars with the Diocese of Worcester, which included prison ministry and also a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Rutland.

The family expresses their gratitude to the angels from VNA Care Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided.

Calling hours: Monday, January 19, 2015, 4-7pm at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. The funeral will be held from Nordgren Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, with a 10am Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, 258 Main Street, Rutland. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
