Subscription Update Obituary

     Margaret A. (Mackie) Price, 90, of Millbury and formerly of Worcester, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at home after a long illness.

     She leaves two sons, John M. Price with whom she lived, and Thomas J. Price, both of Millbury; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Hillary and Michelle and Kathrine Price, and Dennis and Pamela Burnette, a brother, William B. Mackie of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews.

    Margaret was predeceased by her husband Paul T. Price, her son Paul T. Price Jr., her daughter Margaret Burnette, her sister Helen J. Brown and her brother John J. Mackie.

Margaret was born in Fitchburg, daughter of John J. and Helen J. (McSheehy) Mackie. She lived in Worcester more than 70 years before moving last year to Millbury.

Margaret was devoted to her family. She dedicated most of her life to the special needs of her beloved son Tommy.

Margaret’s family thanks all the aides and health care professionals who helped take care of her including those from AmeriCare, Elder Services of Worcester, and VNA Hospice.

The funeral will be held Monday, December 5 from the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester.

Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
