Subscription Update Obituary

     Marcia J. (Labossiere) McGlynn, 73, died peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2018 with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Russell and Lois (Syner) Labossiere and had lived in Holden for many years.

Marcia graduated from Wachusett High School with the class of 1963.  She dedicated her life to her family and her love of children.  Marcia worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at the Kindergarten level at Chaffin Elementary School in Holden for several years.  She cherished her grandchildren and had embraced her role in their care and development.  Marcia enjoyed traveling with her beloved late husband Leonard, and particularly enjoyed their trips to Marco Island.

Marcia was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 50 years, Leonard J. “Beepe” McGlynn in 2015.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Daniel E. McGlynn and his wife, Lynne of Rutland; her daughter, Stephanie A. Tuccio and her husband, Andrew of Worcester; her sister, Marilyn Roy of Boylston; her sister in law Kathy Logan and her husband, Skip; her grandchildren, Matthew, Katie and Joey McGlynn of Rutland, Noah, Michael and Reece Waterman, Andrew Tuccio Jr. and Abigail Tuccio all of Worcester; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited attend calling hours from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, August 31st at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.  A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 1st at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richard’s Ave., Paxton.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.
