Subscription Update Obituary

     Marcia A. (LaPrade) Desroches, 85, a lifelong resident of Holden passed away peacefully Thursday, March 5 in the comfort of her home, after an illness.

Her husband, Herbert D. Desroches, Sr. died in 1988. She leaves six children, H. Donald Desroches, Jr., Douglas A. Desroches, David A. Desroches, Daniel A. Desroches, Darlene A. Belisle, and Dennis A. Desroches; many grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, William LaPrade and Jack LaPrade; two sisters, Joan Stevens and Janet Conrad and many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Debra Holmes and a great grandson, Shayne Desroches predeceased her. She was born in Holden, daughter of Romeo A. and Catherine G. (Welch) LaPrade and graduated from Holden High School, 48’. She was an active member of the Holden Senior Center.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holden Council on Aging, 1130 Main Street, Holden, MA 01520.
