Subscription Update Obituary

     Manuel “Manny” Centeno Jr, 31, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2020.

He was born in Worcester on December 28, 1988 a son of Manuel and Chantale (Joseph) Centeno and was raised in the city. He attended local schools and graduated from Doherty High School in 2007. Manny worked for many years as an assembler for Affordable Interior Systems in Leominster. Manny cherished time spent with family and friends and could often be found working on cars and listening to music. He had a love for adventure and particularly enjoyed jumping off of things.

Besides his loving parents, he leaves his children, Destiny Marie Centeno and Elianna Faith Ventura; his step daughter, Xiorallys Rivera; a brother Michael Joseph and a sister, Melissa Centeno of Worcester; his grandparents, Willie Joseph of South Carolina and Gilberto and Carmen Centeno of Puerto Rico; several aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.

Manuel will be reunited again with his grandmother, Mauricette Joseph who passed away in 2018.

Family and friends will celebrate his life on Sunday, August 30th with calling hours from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 31st at 10:00am at the Cathedral of St. Paul, 38 High St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
