Subscription Update Obituary

Lynn J. (Gustafson) McConville , 79, of Auburn, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Life Care Center of Auburn.

 Lynn was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Bernard J. McConville, in 2007. She leaves her devoted children, Scott B. McConville and his wife Cynthia, of Auburn, Kimberly A. Roy, of Holden, David W. Gamble-McConville and his husband Tyrone, of Auburn, and Mark J. McConville of Auburn; her adoring grandchildren, Timothy, Alyssa wife of Brandon, Bryan, Andrew and his partner Ryan, Matthew, Amanda, and Anna; a sister in law, Patricia A. Doyle; and her childhood friend, Margaret Bishop; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Lynn was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to the late William A. Gustafson and Edna M. (Whatmore). Lynn was predeceased by her brother David W. Gustafson in 1972. She was raised and educated in Worcester, graduating from South High School.

 After raising her children Lynn worked in the bookstore at the College of the Holy Cross for many years.

 In her free time, she loved knitting, playing candy crush, words with friends, watching the gameshow network and spending time with her fur baby Maggie.

 A private funeral service will be held for her family and she will rest alongside her parents and brother in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Homes is honored to be assisting with arrangements.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community Cat Connection, P.O. Box 724, Webster MA 01570
