Lynda (Greene) Lambert, 77, died peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. She was born in Clinton, the daughter of Elizabeth (MacMackin) and Charles D. Greene Jr. and grew up in Sterling.

Lynda graduated from Wachusett High School with the class of 1962. She worked for Taggies as a monogrammer for a period before becoming a school bus driver for Van Pool Transportation in Barre. Lynda truly enjoyed getting to know the students she drove and will be warmly remembered by them all. She also helped Kim in the yarn department at the Wachusett Recycling Center. Lynda had a passion for sewing and crafts and was featured in many craft fairs where she sold some or her creations. She loved to travel and help her beloved, Everett on the Central Mass Rail Trail. On the last Saturday of each month she would meet up with her Class of ’62 friends for lunch or dinner. Lynda was an avid football fan and enjoyed watching college and professional football on the weekends. Above all she cherished spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Lynda is survived by her partner of many years, Everett E. Reynolds; four children, Daniel Lambert of Barre, Deanna Lambert and wife, Debra of Pennsauken, New Jersey, and the last few years she reconnected with Laurie O’Neil and Linda Worden of New York; her sister, Barbara Foster of Leominster; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Charles Lambert and her brother, David Charles Greene.
